Our Company

Cerro Indio Safaris is now approaching its 30th Anniversary. We have been in business long enough to know exactly what dedicated international hunters expect from us. Over the years, many of the most worldwide well-known hunters have chosen our outfitting services for their South American adventures.

Bowhunting has been our specialty for the last 20 years and we have successfully guided more bowhunters than any other outfitter in South America. The reason: we love bowhunting and we understand the game. These facts have not prevented us from the pleasure of guiding many handgun and of course, hundreds of rifle hunters.

Our waterfowl and upland hunts are out of this world. We work our areas with responsibility in order to keep them unspoiled for the next generations. That’s our legacy!

For all of us who make Cerro Indio Safaris possible, our goal is to provide our clients with the most amazing and unforgettable experience both in the field and at our lodges. From hunting guides to Chef, from skinners to maids, our team is well trained and will go the extra mile to make sure you will return soon.

Who we are?

Our Team

Founder, Owner and PH

Gonzalo Llambi

Is the founder of the company. He has a degree in agricultural sciences but a long time ago he became a Professional Hunter. He started sport hunting at an early age in “Acelain”, his family’s Estancia. There, he learnt important skills from local “gauchos” that taught him the secrets of the game, the woods and the land. He plays polo since he was a kid and before founding Cerro Indio Safaris he did it professionally, with great success, both in Argentina and abroad.
Finally, the call from the deer, rutting deep in the woods and valleys was stronger and before his second daughter was born he decided to dedicate his entire life to his main passions: hunting & family .

PH

Juan J. Perez Mouriz

Used to spend lots of time at his family’s ranch in the north-eastern province of Corrientes, where his love for outdoors life and nature grew together, while he was taught to ride horses and to hunt.
He studied international trade in Buenos Aires and was deeply involved in the edition and publication of numerous books and magazines on hunting in Argentina.
He used to be the Manager of the Argentina Chapter of Safari Club International while working as a free lance PH for Cerro Indio Safaris. Later on, he left SCI and started working full time for the company, acting as a PH during the hunting season and taking care of a good portion of the office work during the off season periods.

PH

Miguel “Ike” Grondona Campos

Is the youngest member of our team. His hunting passion started at an early age and was very much encouraged by his family.
Ike is an enthusiastic and responsible guide and knows every stone and every tree in the areas he hunts. He has a great sense of humor and enjoys outdoors life so much that even during the off season periods he spends endless hours on the field exploring and in direct contact with nature and wildlife.

PH

Franco Pianzola

Grew up amongst hounds, shotguns and rifles. He accompanied his father on his wing shooting and big game hunting trips since he could barely walk. After finishing school, he left the City of Tandil, where he was born and moved to La Plata to study tourism. As soon as it was possible for him, he moved back to Tandil, and has been collaborating with Cerro Indio Safaris ever since.

PH

Tony Zovich

Always has a very contagious optimism and a terrific sense of humor, probably because he has organized his life in a way that allows him to hunt all year round, both for himself and as a PH. Long time ago he decided to follow his passion and sold a successful business because it was stealing a lot of his hunting time. Big game hunting or wing shooting have no secrets for him. In Argentina, he has hunted for every single species you can name or think about. He has been in contact with Cerro Indio Safaris for many years and he has been working as a PH for big game and for doves, pigeon and partridge in the northern province of Santiago del Estero. .

PH & Fishing Guide

Roberto Zovich

Is a very complete outdoorsman, he loves fly fishing and he has fished some of the best places in the world. His other passion is wing shooting, being himself an excellent and generous shot, always willing to help others by providing multiple tips that are instantly transformed into imporvement. He is based in the northern province of Santiago del Estero and he is Cerro Indio Safaris’ fly fishing expert.
