Our Company

Cerro Indio Safaris was founded over 30 years ago and has been in business long enough to fully understand the expectations of dedicated international hunters. Over the years, hundreds of rifle, bow, and handgun hunters from all over the world, as well as wing shooting enthusiasts have chosen our outfitting services for their South American adventures.

Bowhunting has been one of our specialties for the past 25 years, and we have successfully guided more bowhunters than any other outfitter in South America. The reason is simple: we love bowhunting and we understand the game.

Milestones achieved through the years have not stopped us from enjoying the privilege of guiding many handgun hunters, as well as hundreds of rifle hunters.

Our waterfowl and upland hunts are truly exceptional. We carefully manage our areas to keep them pristine for future generations. That’s our legacy!

For all of us who make Cerro Indio Safaris a leading name in the hunting world, our goal is to provide our clients with the most amazing and unforgettable experience, both in the field and at our lodges. From the field guides to the chefs, and from the skinners to the maids, our team is highly trained and always goes the extra mile. We not only work for your experience but, more importantly, we work for your return.

About Our Founder

Founder, Owner and PH

Gonzalo Llambi

Gonzalo Llambi is the founder and owner of Cerro Indio Safaris. He holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences, but many years ago, he decided to become a Professional Hunter. He started sport hunting at an early age at "Acelain," his family’s traditional estancia in the Province of Buenos Aires. There, he learned important skills from local "gauchos" who taught him the secrets of the game, the woods, and the land.
Gonzalo has played polo since he was a child, and before founding Cerro Indio Safaris, he played professionally, with great success, both in Argentina and abroad. However, the call of the deer rutting deep in the woods and valleys eventually became stronger. Just before his second daughter was born, he made the decision to dedicate his entire life to his two main passions: hunting and family.
From his days as a professional sportsman, he learned that teamwork is the secret behind every victory. He has built and now manages Cerro Indio Safaris based on that principle of unity and shared effort that translate into every hunter’s experience.
