La Pampa is a vast open land in central Argentina where the spirit of wild adventure still lives. Its rolling grasslands, native forests of “Calden”, and gentle topography combine to create the ideal terrain for hunts that sharpen the senses and provide unforgettable trophies.
A defining chapter in La Pampa’s hunting heritage is its role as the entry point for Red Deer and Wild Boar, introduced over a century ago. These species, carefully acclimated over generations, have become central to the province’s identity among the world’s great big‑game hunting destinations.
Over time, many other exotic species—such as water buffalo, axis deer, fallow deer, blackbuck, mouflon, feral goat, and various rams—have also been established here. The expansive pampas grasslands and “caldén” forests have welcomed them, creating rich and diverse game options.
Today, La Pampa and Cerro Indio Safaris offer more than trophies—we deliver a full experience. It begins from the moment you land at the local airport, continues through breathtaking days in the field, and ends in the comfort of a lodge designed to immerse you in the true character of this wild, proud land.
Every day American Airlines, Aerolineas Argentinas, Continental Airlines, Delta Airlines and United Airlines have various non-stop flights from the US to Argentina. Most of these flights arrive to Ezeiza International Airport (in Buenos Aires) early in the morning.
Upon arrival, you will be met by an assistant from Cerro Indio Safaris who will guide you to your transfer to the ranch.
Private Charter planes may also be arranged from Buenos Aires to the hunting area.
